I'm planning on finishing up my current tech editing project ASAP. It's taking me longer than I had anticipated, but as I've said before, I'm really enjoying it, and learning a lot about socks.
I really don't want to knit anything but socks right now. I've finished the River of Life sock set, and am waiting for the perfect opportunity for photography. The plan is that when I finish my tech editing project, I'll take another look at the River of Life pattern and get them up on here for you all to enjoy!
There is also another surprise sweater that I'm planning on putting up soon. I'm keeping it hush hush for the time being though. Again, waiting for the perfect photography moment, and another look at the pattern. This one's quite more in-depth than the socks, so it may take a little longer to publish.
The current project in my knitting bag are these knee socks, which I guess I'm calling "Mountain socks" for the time being. Couldn't really tell ya why, it's just the name that came to me while I saved the photograph.
Today's also World Wide Knit in Public Day, and this year I actually (sort of) participated. I joined the owner of Butterfly Yarns in Wakefield, MA (Kim) and 2 other knitters (Larra, and [I hope this is right, I'm terrible with remmbering names; if it's not I appologize muchly!] Lauren) in a gazzebo to knit and chit-chat for a little while. I pulled myself away after about an hour to get back to tech editing. I'm really glad I went though. It's not very often that I get to hang out with knitters (away from work, that is).
